How to Enable Daily Update for Your Actions

Daily update is a feature that lets users subscribe to receive an Assistant notification on their device at their scheduled time each day. It’s a great way to provide value to your users on a regular basis and keep them engaged with your Action. To enable daily updates for your Action, configure one of your update intents as the triggering intent and add a daily update option as the response to that intent. When a user invokes this intent, your Action prompts them to sign up for daily updates, either as a mid-conversation registration prompt or as a suggestion chip when the conversation ends. Then the user schedules a time of day to get their daily update and confirms their subscription with Google Assistant.

Give your teams an avenue to openly reflect and discuss challenges they face or how they are doing against their goals, both public weekly team reports and private daily updates. This helps them build trust and support each other and find ways to improve their performance.

Use daily reports to encourage employees to work together and focus on the company’s short-term and long-term goals. This is especially helpful when there are individual obstacles, as daily reports can help them identify and address them faster than a longer team meeting. It also allows them to celebrate successes and congratulate teammates for their hard work.
